Almost half of American adults are caring for their parents while also caring for their own children. These individuals are known as the Sandwich Generation. While research reports that 52% of the Sandwich Generation are pretty happy caring for their elderly parents, caring does not come easily and adds high stress to the Sandwich Generation life. Sandwich Generation caregivers have to balance the three major responsibilities of raising their own children, managing their own households and holding down jobs. We, at hcP, also belong to the Sandwich Generation. We understand the balancing act that it takes to do the job.
This was the driving force in forming hcP.
